Service period matters
Where a program depends on service or discharge, MDN should evaluate the relevant period rather than a single global service field.
BENEFITS & SERVICES REGISTRY — FOUNDING PUBLIC BETA
The registry is a map of programs and the factors that can affect eligibility. It does not issue a “you qualify” verdict. Service periods, branch/component history, broken service, discharge characterization, family status, disability status, and other facts can change the answer.
Privacy note: Search and filters run in your browser. They do not ask for case identifiers, and your filter choices are not sent to analytics.
If you have prior service, changed branches or components, had a break in service, served under another legal name, or have conflicting/missing records, use the Service History & Record Continuity check first.
BROWSE & FILTER
The registry starts with high-value federal and DoD programs and will expand during public beta.
CURRENT REGISTRY
Each card shows the responsible agency, major eligibility dimensions, time sensitivity, and the official source.
HOW MDN USES THE REGISTRY
Where a program depends on service or discharge, MDN should evaluate the relevant period rather than a single global service field.
If the user does not know a service date, characterization, status, or record fact, MDN should not silently infer it.
The registry helps identify what to verify. The responsible agency or governing authority makes the actual eligibility decision.
